Linishing

Also know as directional, brushed, graining or satin finish, this is achieved using a grinder or a belt sander.

Whilst polishing produces a bright finished surface, linishing produces a matt finish, it can also remove blemishes from the extrusion if present.

Different grades of finishing can be achieved by using different coarseness of media/grit.

It is often used for Aerospace cabin interiors, trim panels, electronic facias and automotive finishes.
