Season's greetings to all our customers

Capalex have launched a new website to showcase our aluminium machining service. Please take a minute of your time to have a look at some of the machined and powder coated parts we manufacture.

Summer production at Capalex

Our production will be running as normal over the summer period to ensure we maintain our usual fast delivery service.

July

Stock Management at Capalex

We are now able to stock manage profiles with prior agreement with the customer.

We have recently employed a specific stock controller to manage our new stock warehouse, this combined together has vastly improved our capacity for storage and manageability of stock.

Should you have a need for Capalex to stock manage your extrusions please get in touch with your salesman who will be able to discuss your requirements with you.

Quality Incentive Scheme

This month we introduce a quality incentive scheme for the factory where we hope to reduce scrap and error rates by monitoring more closely scrap and returns. Staff are incentivised to reduce these levels on a month on month basis with the possibility of financial rewards.

New Warehouse

Our new warehouse is now up and running. This has given us a spacious extra storage facility. We are able to stock manage profiles with prior agreement with the customer.

Continuous Improvement Programme

As part of our continuous improvement programme at Capalex, we've reorganised the material flow between the powder coating and assembly areas. A Kanban system has been introduced into the assembly parts area.

Also the packing area has been reorganised so material will flow smoother from the age ovens to packing and subsequently into the despatch area.

The inspection and rectification area is now located centrally on the shopfloor.

All of the above improvements enable a smoother and more effecient running of our production area.

March

Easter

Capalex will be closed over the Easter Bank Holiday running from Friday 21st March to Monday 24th March, otherwise we will be open for our normal service.

January

New Press

Capalex announces installation of another 600 tonne indirect automated extrusion press. This press is particularly suitable for extrusion of complex high tolerance multi gallery sections and heat transfer sections up to 70mm circle size.

If you have old Adal Seco Aluminium small dies we should be able to produce your extruded sections on this or one of our other presses. Our extrusion capacity is now significantly increased. Please contact our sales department with your aluminium extrusion, machining, powder coating and finishing requirements.
